On 24th August 2025, Dhanalakshmi Group marked a historic milestone with the grand celebration of its 5th Anniversary. What began as a journey full of challenges has now transformed into a story of success, compassion, and community development. With pride and joy, the Group unveiled a series of initiatives that reflected both its economic progress and its deep commitment to social responsibility.

A Day of Historic Events

The day began at 8:30 AM with the foundation stone laying ceremony of the new head office of the credit society at Mannuthi, Thrissur. The event was inaugurated by renowned medical astrologer Shri Mohan K. Vedakumar, marking a new chapter in Dhanalakshmi’s growth.

Later, at 10:30 AM, Shri Mohan K. Vedakumar also inaugurated the new credit society in Marathakkara, marking yet another step forward in the Group’s expansion.

At 10:30 AM, the Group announced the opening of new branches in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Gujarat, expanding its footprint across India and injecting new strength into the field of economic development.

Social Service at the Heart of the Celebration

The 5th anniversary wasn’t just about growth—it was a celebration of giving back to society. The much-awaited Annasaradhi project was launched, a visionary initiative with a noble mission: “No one in Thrissur should go hungry anymore.” This dream project reflects Dhanalakshmi Group’s promise to ensure food security and social welfare in the community.

In line with this spirit, meals were served to the elderly across 27 orphanages in 14 districts of Kerala, along with the distribution of plates and glasses. Such acts of kindness highlighted the Group’s philosophy that progress must go hand-in-hand with compassion.

• Eco-Friendly Agro Farm – Announcement of the upcoming Dhanalakshmi Agro Farm in Arattupuzha, Thrissur, to promote organic vegetables and sustainable farming.
• Book Release – Halasyan, authored by Dr. Vibindas Kadangottu, was released by Shri Mohan K. Vedakumar and Shri James Valappila, inspiring deep thought and reflection.
• D Grand Hotel Soft Launch – A step towards fulfilling another dream project in the hospitality sector.
• House Key Handover – A new home was built and handed over to a family affected by the Chooralmala disaster in Wayanad, offering them shelter and hope.
• Artificial Legs for the Differently-Abled – Seven individuals were given artificial legs as part of a larger program to provide support to 100 people, restoring not only mobility but also dignity.

Announcements That Define the Future

Two historic declarations were made during the event that embody the Group’s vision of human love and justice:

1. Mass Marriage of 500 Couples – To be held on 24th August 2030 at Thekkinkadu Maidan, Thrissur, without any caste or religious barriers.
2. Continued Social Support – Long-term projects for orphans, the differently-abled, and underprivileged communities were outlined as part of the Group’s mission for the next five years.

As the celebrations concluded with the lighting of the Bhadra lamp by dignitaries including Dr. Vibindas Kadangottu, Shri Mohan K. Vedakumar, Shri James Valappila, and advisory board members, the message was clear:

We are immensely proud to share that Dr. Vipin Das, Chairman of Dhanalakshmi Group, has been honoured with the prestigious title of ‘Sir’ at the International Knight Honour Programme held in Bangkok, Thailand, by the Ecumenical Medical Humanitarian Order Knights of St John of Jerusalem.

This globally respected recognition was awarded in acknowledgement of his outstanding contributions to social welfare and humanitarian service. One of the most notable among these is the free community wedding of 216 tribal couples under his leadership — a gesture that touched hearts and uplifted lives.

Held on July 27 at the Ambassador Hotel, Bangkok, the ceremony saw international dignitaries and community leaders come together to celebrate excellence in arts, science, health, and social service.

Dr. Vipin Das’ journey is an inspiring reminder that leadership is not just about growth – it’s about giving back to society. Under his guidance, Dhanalakshmi Group continues to lead impactful relief and community development programs across India.

As part of World Environment Day celebrations, our Managing Director, Dr. Vibindas Kadangottu, led a meaningful initiative by distributing plants to employees across our offices.

The event was organized to encourage our team members to contribute actively to protecting the environment by planting and nurturing saplings at their homes and communities. Speaking at the occasion, Dr. Vibindas Kadangottu highlighted the importance of preserving green spaces and how individual contributions can collectively build a sustainable future.

“Each sapling we plant is a promise to the next generation. It is our responsibility to ensure the health of our environment while we grow as an organization,” Dr. Vibindas shared during the event.

The initiative witnessed active participation from employees, who pledged to care for their saplings and promote environmental awareness in their neighbourhoods. To support students, educational kits were distributed ahead of the new academic year by the Dhanalakshmi Group. The distribution was part of the Dhanalakshmi Group’s community welfare initiatives for the children of its staff and others in need.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Vibindas Kadangottu, Managing Director of Dhanalakshmi Group, by handing over the kits to students.

During the event, Dr. Vibindas Kadangottu stated that Dhanalakshmi Group will always stand with society and its employees, aiming to provide support in education and social welfare activities.

The event was attended by Directors Mr. Althaf, Mr. Suresh, Mr. Shaji, Mr. Anand, and Mr. Vinod, as well as Senior Staff, Dr. Satheesh Kumar, and others.

In a mass wedding ceremony held at Adimali, 216 young couples tied the knot with the support of the Dhanalakshmi Group of Companies. The ceremony was organized under the leadership of Kanthalloor native P.P. Sreekanth, the local area development committee secretary and president of the Adimali SNDP Union, with the cooperation of various social organizations, temple committees, and local well-wishers.

The Dhanalakshmi Group of Companies provided complete sponsorship for the event. Dr. Vibindas Kadangottu, Chairman of the Kanthalloor Board of Directors, officially inaugurated the ceremony. The wedding ceremony started at 12:04 pm with the traditional rituals.

Out of the 216 couples, 84 brides were from Adimali and 72 from Idukki, and the remaining from other parts of Kerala. This is the 52nd such mass wedding event organized by Adimali Union, enabling economically backward families to conduct the weddings of their children without financial burden.

The event was attended by Dr. Vibindas Kadangottu, along with board directors, managing directors, and dignitaries from Dhanalakshmi Group of Companies, who provided blessings and support for the newly married couples.
